You must have missed all the invective and smears directed at Newt during the reign of Emperor Billigula but as many have said, we’re not electing a Pope, we’re electing a President and at the present time the only candidate that has the intellectual and debating firepower to take down 0bama-lama-ding-dong, is Newt Gingrich.

I'm stunned Newt could be faithful to a woman like Marianne who felt blackmail and intimidation were her personal right.
Is there a reason she was treated like she was? She's acting like a bully now - was that part of the marriage?
Will the press look at her dirty laundry? They were VERY interested in Linda Tripp and Monica. And Paula - and more than willing to trash those women. What's their excuse for this double standard? The press always has an excuse for why dems are treated one way - and we're treated another way. Funny how they're so willing to believe their own excuses.
Newt's starting to look more sympathetic.
She comes across as one bitter narcissistic type. The "press" is so ready to exploit her... to help spread her bitterness. Why?
Can we reciprocate? There are newsmen who have been unfaithful.
Maybe some of US don't want to see - or READ the news - when it's written by people who were unfaithful to their marriage partners. Let's parade them out and make our call. Turn about's fair play, right?

I am not a betting guy, but from years of reading Drudge, I do not think he is a "Romney guy". He gave up a good gig with FOX over an anti-abortion photo he wanted to use and just walked away.
Like many I would love to see Newt wipe the debate floor with the cretin who inhabits 1600 Penn. Ave. Newt is very bright, very informed but not always on the right team.
Santorum also has made a few poor calls on friends. Overall his record is much better than Newt on the personal life.
If either of those candidates winds up with the nomination, I will gladly vote for them. If Romney is the nominee, I am going to have to do some serious consideration about voting for him. Not sure I can actually do that.
