I am sitting in my home office. If my citizenship was in doubt, I could fax a copy of Certificate of Birth via the fax machine on my desk. My COB is also in my office. I would then write a letter to Texas Vital Statistics Office (VSU) in Austin. The letter would be notarized. The letter would give the Statistics office permission to release my records to any individual that requests it. I would give the letter to FED EX and the State would have it the next day.

My total cost would be 22 dollars for the copy and about 20 bucks for Fed Ex. The whole thing could be done in 24 hours.

Why has Obama spent millions of dollars in fighting what would cost him only 10 dollars (the price in Hawaii for a certified copy) to bury the issue if he indeed is a natural born citizen.

I had mentioned elsewhere that Obama should have submitted one of the TWO alleged hard copies of his LFBC with the Motion to Quash the subpoenas. It would have made a very compelling argument, like, “look, I was born here and I have proof. This is a waste of time.” But, there’s a very good reason he didn’t send them a copy. He can’t.

Now the question is does he show up or do they try to turn this into a circus. IMO, they would rather give this up on a default judgment instead of taking a chance this court will declare him ineligible. The press will skewer him if that happens, and he’s history. It doesn’t matter that it’s only one state: a legal precedent will have been established. In the default judgment, he can still laugh it off and pretend they’re just crazy in Georgia.
