I am getting a little afraid this is going to be an "accepted as normal" issue, regardless of the Constitution.
I am not a big Santorum fan but my jaw dropped during last night's debates when I heard him talk (not verbatim)about his 7 year old father in the arms of his grandfather arriving in the country as Italian immigrants.
Did he happen to mention the date and place his father Aldo Santorum naturalized?
Your concern is warranted, given the grand scale of professional negligence by our side of the aisle that ushered him into office.
While I do not believe Santorum will be the candidate, the NBC question is whether his father was naturalized prior to the younger's birth.
We haven't talked in a couple of years. Looked at your About page to see if you were the same guy that was on that whiskey distribution wagon. It appears you would enjoy Ron Chernow's Wahington, <$20 at Sam's, if you have not already read it.
If Santorum’s father became a US citizen before Rick was born, then Rick qualifies as NBC. Assuming his mother was also a citizen before his birth.
