Banks should be allowed to determine their own risk.
Banks should not be bailed out when they make bad loans.
If the government would stop assuming risk of private companies, free enterprise will work.
Eliminate the FDIC. Make the bank presidents accountable only to their depositors.
I predict that exactly one bank will go under; the personal consequences to the officers of that failed bank will 'encourage' all other banks to prosper.
