Obama would put [Santorum] in a headlock and give him a noogie.

LOL!! That's exactly what would happen.

Support your local female and we just may save your arse. ;)

Good post! And as for Gingrich, I don't get the sense that women wouldn't vote for him because of his past. Heck, I believe over 50% of Americans are divorced nowadays, so it's not as if women don't know anybody who's been divorced (and many have been divorced themselves) and are shocked by the whole idea. Many of them probably know bitter or nutty ex-wives, too, so I don't think that's really a shocker.

Aside from that, it makes me mad when people imply that women vote based solely on looks. This is not the case any more than it is with men, who supposedly vote for the taller candidate.

Everybody votes for a sort of personal spark, though. I thought Bill Clinton was not good-looking, for example; he was overweight, had a bulbous nose and a pasty skin-color. But whether you liked him or not, he had an engaging personality and I think this was what both men and women were voting for. They wanted somebody who was interesting and seemed capable of doing things. Granted, this was a complete misreading of Clinton, or at any rate, of the things he wanted to do! But I think physical appearance is less important than that quality.

And Gingrich certainly has that. He's witty and amusing, knowledgeable, has plans and can get angry and aggressive in defense of them, and seems capable of carrying them out. These are attractive qualities to anybody, male or female, and I think they'll win the women's vote.

Bull crap.

After that disgusting display from Marianne, women will flock to Newt.

Watching a biitchy X whine and carry a vendetta, he’s pretty much innoculated now. Every one is saying that leaving her was “a GOOD MOVE, NEWT”.

If Sarah Palin can see through the MSM BS so can many, many others.

Conservative women are not stupid.

The difference between Clinton/Obama and Newt is that both Clinton and Obama flirt with women. They charm women. They schmooze women and give women the impression that they just might get into bed with them.

I guess that could be true of Bill Clinton, that is when he's not raping them!

So you just think Conservative women are just plain stupid. ...nice

Gingrich, on the other hand, doesn’t flirt or go out of his way to make bedroom eyes at women like Clinton and Obama did, and Newt isn’t good-looking like Perry, the Marlboro Man.

You get my vote for stupidest post of the day.

Women dont care that their Husbands dont have Jobs? They dont care that they wont be able to afford Health Insurance or have to go to the Motor Vehicles or Post office to see a Doctor? How about thier sons or Daughters hanging around on their Insurance Policies until they are 26,if they can afford the Increase in the Policy?
Women Hate The Constitution? Do women condone the selling of Thousands of guns to the Sinola cartel in Mexico to slaugther men women and children?
Do women want to drive their Kids around paying 5 dollar a Gallon Gas?
Do women LOVE left wing America Hating Marxists too?

Believe me — I know PLENTY of women who would rather vote for Newt or any other republican — but it always, ALWAYS, ALWAYS comes down to one thing — abortion.

They are PETRIFIED at the thought of their sacred right to kill their kids being taken away. They will walk over hot coals to preserve it.

I don’t think it has ANYTHING to do with his affairs or personal life.

What people need to realize is that half the women in this country complete self-centered selfish individuals. So I just wish we as conservatives would quit trying to fight it and lure the woman vote. Start explaining the conservative viewpoint, unashamedly for a change. Abortion foes WIN this, because they aren’t ashamed of being total evil immoral selfish morons. We need to stp being ashamed of being pro-life and get them to see that abortion is really not in their best interest. But, good luck with that.

I think you are incorrect in your estimate. The attitude toward abortion has changed a great deal in the last decade. The majority of women are now against abortion...and those who want it are not as secure in their sense of this being a good thing anymore.

We are not a pro-abortion party and women vote for pro-life conservatives. In fact, women gave us the majority in the past when Newt led the party.

American women, in the majority, are not grooving on your’s and Romney’s baby killing agenda. The Leftists define women as adamant baby killers; but that is not how “women” define themselves. Liberals constitute less than 17% of the country. We have proven this over and over again.

One simple reason why Newt Gingrich will win: Barack Obama will be his opponent. Any questions?

Sounds like the next anti-Newt meme intended to make us settle for Mitt. Newt is not my idea of the ideal candidate, but among Newt, Mitt, Ron Paul, and Santorum, Newt is the best we can do by a fair margin. They’ll have to do better than “women won’t vote for him”. I wonder what’s next on the list for the GOP establishment to try.

If Allen West was on the ticket with Newt, the race card is moot, they might get more of the black vote and they’d get the military vote.

West said “If it’s about the lives of my soldiers at stake, I’d go through hell with a gasoline can.” (Wikipedia) Maybe he’d say the same thing when the country is at stake.

So the obverse of this is: Why don't men want to vote for Romney?

Here’s my take on the four men:

Santorum- he’s the man fathers want their daughters to date - steady, non aggressive, polite, lots of hair. Of course they would have preferred Perry with his military background but Santorum is a good second. Fathers know Santorum would not hurt his little girl.

Romney - he’s the man the mother wants. He is handsome, rich, polite, rich, tall, rich. Need I say more?

Gingrich is the man the daughter sneaks out the window to be with. She knows her mother would never approve of him and call him scary. But she knows her father would understand what she sees in him because he secretly admires the man, but he wants someone safe for his little girl.

Ron Paul is the man the daughter brings home in order for her parents to ultimately accept Newt.
