This is just incredibly discouraging to me. This is a huge thing, the president of these United States arbitrarily breaking the laws of the land, and yet there is zero reaction. He is not impeached, the media does not inform the citizens of his actions, but in fact covers for him. Nobody knows about this, and many Americans, even if they did know, wouldn't care. They'd be impressed that he's riding roughshod over “uncooperative” congresses. People have no dignity or integrity anymore, so they fail to see the lack of it in anyone else, including the president.

Obama's signature is nothing but an initial indication that the treaty MIGHT be acceptable. Until the Senate ratifies the treaty by the Constitutionally prescribed number of votes, it is not binding in any fashion. The wannabe King in the White Hut just needs to get over himself. Other President have signed treaties that were never ratified and thus not honored.
