The $7,500 Tax Credit for Hybrids ended in 2010.

It now only applies to EV’s (like now bankrupt THINK! or TESla), or Plug-In Hybrids like the VOLT, Prius IV (Comes out in March).

The average VOLT buyer makes $171,000 per year. Tesla’s cost more than $100K.

The better question would be why are we subsidizing cars for FILTHY RICH DEMOCRATS??

I haven't been able to find a chart listing the EV’s eligible for the $7,500 tax credit in 2012 but know it applies to the Volt, Leaf and the more expensive plug-ins.

Mark Modica has been making lots of noise about this tax credit that the wealthy are taking advantage of from taxpayers that can't afford these vehicles themselves, and rightfully so.
