2 February 2012 For Immediate Release The founder of the Silver Star Families of America, a nonprofit organization that assists the wounded, injured and ill of our Armed Forces, came out today in an angry defense of retired three star General Boykin.

“The “politically correct” decision to withdraw an invitation to General Boykin to speak at the West Point Prayer Breakfast is a defeat for the freedom that the General has fought most of his life to give us.” Steve Newton said.

“It’s a slap in the face of God fearing, patriotic American veterans and active duty Armed Force members, when one of their own is rejected because of the opinions of a few Muslim cadets. This sends the exact wrong message to our brave warriors: Find them, fight them and kill them but don’t offend them even on your home turf.”

“It’s my opinion that this will lead to more wounded warriors and that is where we must step in and say “enough of this.” It is high time that someone said that radical Islam does not meet Constitutional or common sense guidelines to be considered a religion. It is a hostile system of government that publicly states that its intention is to overthrow our entire way of life and should not be allowed in this country.”

“General Boykin is not an Islamaphobe as CAIR has called him. He is our modern day Paul Revere who is trying his best to spread the word that the enemy is inside our gates and that instead of bowing down to them we should be treating them like the enemy they are. Whether we listen before it’s too late is up to us.”

I understand that the general's past comments can cause some Muslims concern -- even to fear for their safety.. and I am compassionate to a fault.

I remember the time when Americans of Japanese origin faced similar threats and were relocated to remote areas for their own safety. (Mostly, but some who were suspected of helping Imperial Japan were held in camps.)

Some Muslims living here express great concern for their safety.. well we can do no less to protect them than we did to protect the Americans of Japanese origin -- and the sooner the better.

Keep on yanking the junk yard dogs' chains, Muhammed. That's real smart.

I've worked with some mighty fine people from a country of Muslims and actually lived in Ankara for several months. This was some time ago before the Islamist AK Party.

So I sincerely believe that there is a difference between Islamist (political Islam, jihad and sharia law advocate) Muslims and regular folks like the tens of millions of Turks who do not want Islamism and Sharia Law.

This country was blessed and made great because of our reverence for Jesus Christ! Our great “leader” has apologized to haters of America and declared: “America is no longer a Christian nation”. By the way, he was wearing that familiar smirk at that time. He should not be held accountable though, because his spiritual leader of decades said: “God damn America!!” It should not be surprising then when we suffer loss of our religious freedom. Who will step up to defend the principles this great country was founded on? Who knows what freedom we will lose next. We,as a nation, can not afford four more years of this.
