Rick Santorum tells South Carolina voters that he is the only conservative purist in the field, attacking Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney for being unreliable conservatives. Well, THE FREEDOMIST has already exposed Rick Santorum for his betrayal of a core conservative value, the right to work, the protection against Union thuggery. He is FOR right to work but NEVER votes for right to work legislation. He also endorsed Arlen Specter in his 1996 Presidential run, in 2004 against true conservative Pat Toomey, AND even endorsed Mitt Romney in his 2008 Presidential run. Well, worse than even his right to vote betrayal and his endorsements of RINOS and future democrats was the work that he did as a Senator in the Clinton years, when he and Trent Lott undermined the Senate efforts to bring Bill Clinton to trial after the House impeached him for lying under oath.
Thats right, this pure conservative, who attacks like a tiny lap dog (see Thursdays debate for a classic example of what an attack lap dog looks like when he nips at the heels of others), was instrumental, along with Trent Lott, in stopping the Clinton Impeachmment proceeedings, in rescuing Bill Clinton from facing a fair trial of his peers. This action should not be surprising to the people who remember how aggressively Rick Santorum worked to torpedo a true conservative, Pat Toomey, in 2004, from removing a future democrat and former RINO, Arlen Specter.
Here is all the proof you need to see that Santorum, in fact, killled the impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton, just another reflection of how Santorum is the face of Conservative Purity in Name Only (CPINO- which also sounds like the name of an exotic small wolf dop that yips and yips and yips at everyone ankles):....

“Stop whining and post the better part of his record, if you can.”
Well now it would be a perfect world if you could command me to do research for you.
Santorum has been a very strict conservative his whole career. You cannot undo that by telling me he went along and voted to confirm a judge or voted for a Treaty with the Russians.
I think everyone should look at your posting under “BANKRUPTCY”. While I can’t decipher what he voted on there, if you can turn Santorum into a pro abortion Senator then you are quite the magician.
And that in a nutshell is why your list is bogus.
That Crystal Ball must come in handy when deciding which stocks you buy, right?
Prove his 95% - don’t just post it.
I call BS on that!
Pretty weird, isn't it? I've never made a single hateful post toward the man, but when I post his Senate voting record, the howls go through the roof.
I've done my due diligence on Newt, and am fully aware of those things in his past that were unpalatable to me, but on balance, I feel that he's earned my vote, and that I can trust him to work toward restoring our country.
Mitt? Not just no, but HELL no.
Santorum? I don't think so. Although he's a staunch defender of the unborn, I don't like his voting record on other issues of national importance.
In my opinion, he's also just plain unlikable, which is a deal killer when it comes to a national leader. Sorry, but a person has to at least be personable to get others to follow them.
Here is the link for the homepage of ACU, which I don’t think is evident on that specific archive page...
Ever watch Special Orders, or observe when a congressman rises to address the house. The always ask for unanimous consent to revise and extend my remarks, (then the zinger) even to include extranious materials.
This in fact proves that the congressional record is largely hogwash. The congressman gets to take one position when almost no one is watching, then pull out the congressional record to prove what he said, which may be entirely different from what he actually said. Cool huh?
Please, retread. This isn't your first rodeo.
I figured you'd concede the argument with some sort of snotty comeback, and you did.
Post Santo's conservative voting record, or sit down.
his 95 was proven - proven WRONG by a later poster. It’s a 88, which is only so so for Saint Sanctimonium claiming to be much purer than wind driven virginal snow.
Santorum was Senate Majority Leader? WHo knew, well that changes everything.</sarcasm>
bump
More whining. Surely you can find me one conservative bill that Santo sponsored, or voted on. Or, can't you?
You’re correct, greyfoxx39. Easy to check posting history. That one doesn’t write complete sentences.
So was Lindsey Graham.
Everyone except Rick. Don't believe it? Just ask him. (that's the point here.....guess you missed it.).
The link is in my post.
Free Republic is anti-Romney and FR will not allow any Romney support to be posted.
It’s, precisely, the “Go along to get along” proclivity which offends!
Thanks- I promise that I am completely sober and unimpaired!
