Until proof is presented on this thread that the article citing "From the Diaries of Congressman James E. Rogan, House Manager, Clinton Impeachment Trial" is false, it appears that the Santorum supporters are squealing that even though Newt has been vetted up, down and sideways in the past few months, Romney is vetted on FR every day,...but don't anyone DARE to vet Santorum.
I call BS on that!
I call BS on that!
Pretty weird, isn't it? I've never made a single hateful post toward the man, but when I post his Senate voting record, the howls go through the roof.
I've done my due diligence on Newt, and am fully aware of those things in his past that were unpalatable to me, but on balance, I feel that he's earned my vote, and that I can trust him to work toward restoring our country.
Mitt? Not just no, but HELL no.
Santorum? I don't think so. Although he's a staunch defender of the unborn, I don't like his voting record on other issues of national importance.
In my opinion, he's also just plain unlikable, which is a deal killer when it comes to a national leader. Sorry, but a person has to at least be personable to get others to follow them.
Ever watch Special Orders, or observe when a congressman rises to address the house. The always ask for unanimous consent to revise and extend my remarks, (then the zinger) even to include extranious materials.
This in fact proves that the congressional record is largely hogwash. The congressman gets to take one position when almost no one is watching, then pull out the congressional record to prove what he said, which may be entirely different from what he actually said. Cool huh?
