Romney: Did you notice in Lebanon what Hezbollah did?

UPDATE: Bachmann and Santorum are best on this issue. They understand the global jihad and the threat it presents.

In fairness... you’ll hear the same thing from any of the candidates, and we already have, to one extent or another. Does anybody really think a President or candidate is going to call out all of Islam as inherently violent or evil? It’s just not gonna happen.

Mormonism: It's not just a religion created out of the rituals of Free Masonry. It's also a business with no true 'good deeds' like hospitals, schools, etc. Their conversions are for the money.

Interesting. There was a lot of violence in the early days of the Mormon Church, but they seem to have grown out of it.
On the other hand, the LDS church does have one thing in common with Islam. It draws upon Judaism and Christianity, but it is INCOMPATIBLE with them and with the Bible in numerous ways. Islam starts out by distorting the stories of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, basically turning the whole thing upside down. And LDS likewise completely distorts the Christian version of history.
Or, for that matter, like Islam it distorts history, period. But that’s another story.

What can you expect from the logic of someone who can believe in the absurdities of Mormonism. If someone understands Mormon theology and accepts itthere is a real question about their analytical skills, since their basic statements conflict not only with history, but scientific fact. That pretty well sums up my take on Mormonism. I have avoided expressing that opinion on FR, but you put it out there very nicely.- Tom

I looked at pictures of women being beaten for exposing their ankles or stoned for adultery (i.e., for being attacked against their will). I looked at pictures of Americans being beheaded for being American. I moved on to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, the Spanish trains, the London Underground, the Embassy attacks in Beirut, in Tanzania, and in Kenya, the underwear and shoe bombers on aircraft, the British liquid bombers, and a list of literally thousands of other attacks that I just skimmed. A hasty person might generalize and conclude that Islam is inherently violent, but I know better. I know that diversity is our strength and I should not generalize about a group as if I was prejudiced, even if there is isolated support for that generalization. There is no real pattern there, is there?
