Egypts Christian population begs to differ.
Via Washington Examiner:
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., talked down fear of the Muslim Brotherhoods control in Egypt, as he defended United States foreign aid to Egypt, suggesting that secularists might block the worst forms of Sharia law.
Im not clear whether how the Muslim Brotherhood is going to be, McCain told Sean Hannity last night. There are other representatives in parliament. I know that they will be an elected government, he said.
McCain struck an optimistic tone when Hannity observed that the Egyptian people support Sharia law. Well, first of all, Im not clear what kind of Sharia law they are going to impose, the senator said. There are many secular and democratically inclined people who were part of that government, he noted but he also acknowledged that there extremists in Egyptian parliament, who hopefully . . . will not achieve power.
Killings of Egypts Christians Escalate In Ghastly Slaughter Nearly Ignored in the West
... Christmas for millions of Egyptian Christians, gunshots rang from a drive-by car, killing 7 parishioners exiting evening mass. The Nagaa Hamadi Church Massacre, as it became known, left 26 seriously injured in the small southern town.
During the funerals, greater mayhem erupted. In surrounding towns and villages some 3,000 Muslims broke into Coptic properties, agricultural plots, and businesses, looting and setting fires to shops. Across the country churches were burned. It took Egypts police three days to show up and six weeks to arrest a single culprit.
This senile buffoon is a danger to himself and others. He should be institutionalized where he can't hurt any more innocent people than he already has.
He is Effing wrong. Criminally so, for impersonating sanity and authority in Congress.
But with McCain, it's worse.
Because he's supposed to be on our side.
..Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., wants to end foreign aid to Egypt until the government there allows 19 Americans to leave the country.
McCain's remarks last night seemed at odds with Paul's position. "We need to help them move forward," he argued. "And I'm very unhappy, as Americans are, about the treatment of our NGOs . . . But for us not to be involved in that part of the world, I think, would be a very serious mistake."

--He is always pushing movement and money to the Muslim countries, yet will not address the Mexico/border crime in his own back yard, or fast and furious, murder of border guard.
A few Democrats in Tucson, yeah. Everyone else....no.
Why is he still there, and J.D. Hayworth moved up here??
I’ve always cut him some slack because of the POW experience.
Maybe I’m too generous.
He ran ads when running for re-election in AZ walking the border, claiming to address border issues. He has said boo about fast and furious, cartel violence...he is a globalist.
McCain’s right - he certainly isn’t clear (thinking, that is).

There’s no doubt in my mind that years in the Hanoi Hilton severely damaged the man mentally.
Don't let them select ANOTHER dumbass RINO for us - NO TO ROMNEY
McCain should stick to subjects he knows something about - like restricting free speech and massive illegal alien amnesties.
Can we expect Mitt to act differently? No! Newt sure as heck will. GO NEWT GO!
You’re too generous.
his McCain-Feingold campaign finance bill was largely over turned by the Supreme court in Citizens United as censorship.
I don't know why he is allowed to introduce new legislation after that. NDAA is also unconstitutional, needs to be challenged.
He is pushing globalist agenda.
