When a man goes to divorce courtand faces a woman judge , he is fugged.
I remember when some men joined a volunteer Fire Dept. because they could find no other place to live and the Fire Dept. was glad to get them.
Judges had left them with no other choice but to move back with their parents or find a place to stay.
Meanwhile the mother had moved in with another man who had plenty of cash, and was living high off the hog, and spending the child support money wherever she felt like it.
IMO, any child support money not spent on the child should be placed in a savings account for that child.
My son got custody of his child when his wife took off, and she was forced to pay the exhorbitant sum of $238.00 a month, and he had to go to the county to force her to pay that.
He had to sell his home after two years and split the money with her. She bought the home and now she is suing for custody.
Believe me the one place women do not want to be treated equally is in Divorce Court.They have men by the balls.
I would advise anyone who gets married especially if they have some assets is to do a prenup and even pay for counsel for the other person. Concerning Child Support, IMHO, it should be much more tightly controlled where it is for the benefit of the child only !
I remember back in 1989, one guy that worked for my dad got married. He was a college student and his wife worked for a top accounting firm making very good money. She whored around and wanted to enjoy the bar scene. Before she filed for divorce, she cleaned all of the accounts out so he couldn’t hire an attorney and when the divorce was finished. He had to pay her lawyers fees, pay her maintenance and everything he had including assets before the marriage, she got. He just got the shirt on his back and kept his truck since his parents owned it, not him. I met her one time and she was very unfriendly and rude. After the divorce, she couldn’t leave well enough alone so she taunted him and broke him where something happened and he had to go to prison for several years. When he got out, she tried to make up more stuff like saying that he called and threatened her. Woman was a piece of work to say it in nice terms !
