No country is a military threat to the USA especially Iran. Our only real threat is the ongoing loss of our liberty and treasury and the fascists who want more for them and less for the USA. Which is exactly what this so called WOT is now doing to us, while making a select few greedy sleazy opportunists rich, and giving corrupt politicians and media the ability to control the foolish masses.

We certainly do need patriots. But patriotism is love of country not obsessive paranoia. The dual loyalty canard was always puerile attempt to silence opposition, no better than me calling you an antisemite for no reason. Today, this canard is completely unsupportable. Noeconservatives are joining liberals in supporting the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Syria, just as they did in Egypt (a former allie), Tunisia, and in Libya where they and the Obama regime were virtually allied with Al Qaeda in the Maghreb. Surrounding Israel with Sunni Salafists is a threat to Israel, not as dire as a nuclear Iran, but a grave threat. It restores the situation of the 1960s and 1970s, where Israel was in constant struggle.
