Your Post #7 is unfortunately spot-on. I hate to be a pessimist but I also believe it to be true.
The biggest thing Obama has going for himself is the Media’s complicity in his re-election. Just like in 2008, they’ll refuse to ask the tough questions or raise the wrong points.
That factor alone, if you could assign a $ value to it, is worth millions of dollars.
How about Obama ... All ass ... no hat.
“We know what we have to do,and we really need to take it to them as never before, relentlessly, every day.”
Well put. In political races that I’ve worked on, I’ve always advocated a tough response to the BS emanating from our Dem opponents. When we fought back, the Dems were always caught off-guards. It was like “Whoa, our GOP opponent punched back at us! We weren’t expecting that!”
However, the campaign consultants and other Beltway know it alls won’t go for that. They somehow believe that this race will be won without having to resort to tough tactics.
But most importantly, the GOP needs to start confronting the media on their lies and obfuscations. Until we start doing that, we start this race in the hole.
Hmm, hope he understands that if he does win, he’ll have to start showing results instead of giving excuses.
Not to mention many of its former members in “the camps.”
It could be October 2016, and we could be at 17% unemployment with $9.00 a gallon for gasoline, and 50,000 American soldiers dead in the Middle East over something that was entirely unecessary, and the guy would STILL SAY IT IS BUSH'S FAULT. Accepting responsibilty, apologizing and penitence is not in this man's personality. Period.
........that would be Moochella.
I know that. Difference would be that less people would buy it and more people would start calling him on his incompetence.
