It doesn’t seem much good to me to have the ability to watch movies or tv on a tablet, when all the companies are throttling their download speeds and amounts.

I use my iPad to watch movies all of the time. I don’t stream them, but download and play. For example: when I am on a plane, or in a hotel. It saves rentals and it helps pass the time.
