If the mainstream news (ABC, NBC, CBS, et al) bother to report it at all in the evening news it will be with deep skepticism, which (per standard procedure) will be reflected in their scorn full look. It also will start with qualifier “Controversial Arizona Sheriff Deputy Joe Arpaio today held a news conference in which ... blah, blah, blah”.
Then onto “The controversial Arizona Sheriff who has come under deep criticism himself ... blah, blah, blah”.
