On February 29, The Washington Post created a scandal for the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington by dramatizing the denial of communion to lesbian activist Barbara Johnson at her mother’s funeral. Reporter Michelle Boorstein painted an emotional picture of a Catholic daughter being publicly shamed by a priest at her lowest moment.
But new details keep ruining the Post’s report. Thomas Peters at Catholic Vote today reveals that Johnson has publicly declared she is a Buddhist, and not a Catholic! The Post is going to need to fill the Corrections box.

The MSM, like Obama, smells weakness and only wants to drive a wedge. They know, just like we do that the Christian religion (Catholic and Protestant) has become weak in many ways and a wedge causes us to fight each other instead of the enemy. When was the last time the Dems had a fight over abortion, the budget, healthcare, or gas prices. They haven’t because they stay together no matter what.

The Bolshevik Revolution proved that you cannot control the masses at the end of a gun and expect high productivity, so the Fabians and the other Socialists that supported an evolutionary approach to the overthrow began the subtle revolution.
They took over academe, the press, entertainment, the theological seminaries, and political office and began to spread their socialism. But the hardcore communists were not done.
They switched their revolutionary attacks to a more subtle attack on our culture. It was primarily the communists who set out to break the spine of America by turning Americans against America.
They undermined America by rewriting our history and making us ashamed of our great past.
They undermined America with the “anti-establishment” movement, which was intended to separate the young from our traditions, focusing on abandoning individualism and self-reliance and switching them to a mob mentality that scoffed at religion, traditional Judeo-Christian morality and justice, and especially from self-restraint to self-indulgence.
What they have done is eroded the foundation of our fortress hoping that the fortress would collapse by itself.
At the same time they shout with screaming, red faces, “Democracy Now!” (which is mob rule), yet when the masses pass legislation that they disagree with, they support the single judge who throws out that legislation.
That is tyranny. Plain and simple.
They are winning.
We need to hang together as well. That’s why I plan on supporting the nominee against Obama even if it is Romney. Furthermore, we need to hold the house and work to capture the Senate.
This kind of drek knows no limits.

Actually, it is said that she used the word “lover” when she introduced her partner to Father Marcel, in the sacristy before Mass. He explained to then, in private, that she should not present herself for Holy Communion. This is exactly what he should have done, completely in accordance to the way the Archdiocese explained that he should have.
I fear for the Church. By not standing up for Father Marcel the way they should have, they will confuse many, and many will be led astray.
If our hierarchy understood and practiced the doctrine of our Church we would bury the Dems; CINOs make me sick, but they weren’t created in a vacuum.
