I realize that social conservatives want to vote for one of their own. But when it comes time for the general election presidential debates, I want Gingrich up on stage eviscerating Obama.
True. Newt could eviscerate Obama and his Socialist policies.
Unless of course Newt freezes up like he did when Romney actually went after him. In fact, I haven't seen Newt "eviscerate" anyone who actually challenged him in a debate. I think his great debate ability rests on being able to hit back at the press (which he also failed to do in that debate) and articulate his positions better than most.
But the deer-in-the-headlights moment still scares me. One debate like that with Obama and the MSM will obliterate him.
