Bob was the King of the NYC radio waves, providing a conservative voice in liberal NY for 30+ years. Bob is a talk radio pioneer who's career predated the current radio network syndication scheme.
I can remember riding in the car with my Father in 1969 or 1970, when Bob was new to NY, and asking him to change the station I wanted hear some music, not that guy yelling at people to get off his phone.
I became a fan like my Dad and years later told my Son the same as I was told. When you have your own car you can decide what station to listen to.
But he’s not a conservative voice anymore.
