So Santorum has 10 primary victories and 238 delegates,
and number of close 2d place races to Romney who is outspending everyone 20-1 in the 6th year of his campaign

Newt has 2 primaries and just over 100 delegates

But Newt supporter logic is that Rick should drop out

When have there ever so many blind calls for the 2d place in the race to drop out to help the 4th place?

D. Oh.

Every primary is a chance for the voters who dont buy the Romney spinach to pick Newt Rick or the other guy
You must despise the stupid gullible peasants in Santorum flyover country almost as much as obama does, and maybe Newt too, who figures why campaign in states where folks are too busy shopping at Walmart

Not up to date but Santorum country is green, Newt country is purple, Mitt country is orange. Hmm. Pick the biggest loser.

Can you not read?

Do you not understand that I can navigate polls and maps plenty well enough, without your “help”.

Re-read my assessment of what happened to Newt when Mitt savaged him and how Rick profited from the destroyed Newt.

Re-read that I didn’t say Santorum backers were stupid, I said they fell for the siren song, the diversion of Santorum as a substitute for the destroyed Newt.

All we as a party and conservatives needed to do, when Romney did that to Newt, was rally around him as the non Romney instead of chasing the Santorum diversion, instead of heeding his siren call, and Newt would be heading toward convention as the nominee, not Romney.

It’s your call to post this beside-my-point stuff to me.

After the polls and the maps and the delegates to date, factor this:

In Illinois, Santorum’s Chance at Nomination Is Slipping Away (Rick’s last stand)

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2861360/posts

Newt’s fault?

That we are even here at this point is arguably Santorum’s call, for not doing what Perry and Cain did and backing Newt after the Romney onslaught that drove Newt’s numbers into the dumpster.

Right now polls show Romney will take IL big. Very big.

That’s not Newt.

Did Newt hang around after the Romney destruction machine flattened him? Sure. Would you put your tail between your legs and run, after millions in lying ads flattened you, or would you stand up and move foward?

And if you’re Newt, you’ve got even more reason to stand up and move forward. You’re not exactly throwaway material.

Many of us said Rick didn’t have the juice against Romney, long haul.

And before you do it, before you say, oh, but Rick has a better chance than Newt, just look at polls and maps and such, I’m not saying Newt can beat Romney now. Once, he could have. Rick make sure to help take that opportunity away. I’m saying neither of them can win it outright.

At the convention, it doesn’t look good either right now.

Given that sad fact, I’m glad Newt is there to rage against the beast.
