I’m sure the grounds for impeachment are already there but the mechanism of impeachment will never allow it to happen. Remember, the House of Representatives would have to debate and then vote for impeachment (and Boehner would never let that happen) and then the Senate would have to convict him. The votes just aren’t there - in either body.
It’s going to take evidence so profound, so blatant and so obvious that it wakes, no infuriates the public to a point where their voices become so unbearably shrill, it literally drives their representatives to action.
