Having trouble finding gainful employment? You just might be looking in the wrong field. If you are looking for employment in the passé field of construction, petroleum, automotive or even thinking of opening up your own business in this economy you know the deck is stacked against you. Time has passed you by to get a golden ticket from Harvard and you did not have the foresight to donate big enough to Obama’s campaign to cash in on green jobs, so what do you do?

Having trouble finding gainful employment? You just might be looking in the wrong field. If you are looking for employment in the passé field of construction, petroleum, automotive or even thinking of opening up your own business in this economy you know the deck is stacked against you. Time has passed you by to get a golden ticket from Harvard and you did not have the foresight to donate big enough to Obama’s campaign to cash in on green jobs, so what do you do?

What you need to do is edit your resume and refine your search to growth industries that seem to be on hiring binges in an Obama economy. A quick perusal of the help wanted ads will direct you to some of these companies who are struggling to fill positions. Since you don’t have a nursing or law degree you can bypass those positions. How does a career in Medicare sound? Would you like to help fellow citizens that can no longer afford healthcare? Fidelis Care is hiring all over New York. Would you like to wear a uniform and boss people around but the TSA isn’t hiring in your area? An armed guard is another exploding field. Do you like to talk on the phone, how about a career in Telemarketing or collections?

None of these careers get your mojo? How about hanging out with friends and protesting the very 1% (Republican only) that put you in this position? Do you like camping, protesting, looting and just hanging out? Feel like joining the OWS spring offensive? Well then go directly to Craigs list and check out this ad for FairShare Alliance. “TAKE BACK OUR DEMOCRACY! Become a Campaign Director with Fair Share!” This is not just New York they are hiring but in 30 cities nationwide. Now the pay is not great just $23,750 for the first year. Enough to keep you in free cell phones, food stamps, rent assistance and childcare. The only downside is the good 1% (Democrats) running this program don’t pay for healthcare but they will help you apply for taxpayer funded state Medicare and student loans.

So in doing due diligence before accepting employment what is the Fair Share Alliance? Well it is a 501C tax exempt organization that is a project of the Progressive Future. According to their own web site “Fair Share Alliance works to provide every American with a fair shot at a good job, a secure future, strong voice in our democracy by standing up to the right-wing politicians and Wall Street interests who block progress at every turn. Through door-to-door canvassing and grassroots lobbying we press local and national government to do its job and defend working families against the privileged and powerful. And, we help elect leaders who will work for a fair economy and work to defeat politicians who place extreme ideology and corporate profits ahead of ordinary citizens.”

Since 501C’s are subject to strict limitations or absolute prohibition of engaging in political activities you better get your resume in quick. You can be sure that as soon as the Justice Department is done arming all the drug lords in Mexico they will be right on this. Oh and one more thing. Fair Share Alliance is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, gender, handicap, pregnancy, sexual orientation or veteran status, but conservatives need not apply.
