Is it time to tar and feather “free traders” yet?

Just asking.

Not advocating any violence mind you. But we really need to stop playing footsie with our adversaries.

I can understand that you don't want trade between the US and China. But why should you care if trade is established between China and Saudi Arabia? Or between China or anyone else? Its ironic that those in the US who advocate US severing ties with China the most seem to want to dictate to other countries who they should establish ties with.

May I ask, do you not feel that Saudi Arabia and China, as independent nations, not have a right to develop a trading relationship? Even set up their own means to trade Saudi oil?

Once again, its perplexing to me (very perplexing), that those who advocate severing ties with China, want others to do the same. Not only that, for decades, America has talked about oil independence from the Middle East. Yet, we see that China is becoming more dependent. If becoming dependent on Middle Eastern oil is a bad thing, isn't that something we want to wish upon China?
