Everyone in the media has been warned to ‘stand down’. There is no other explanation for the lack of Woodward/Bernstein Pulitzer wannabes.

Exactly. Easily the most egregious fraud foisted on America in political history and all we hear from the media is silence, occasionally a cricket chirping, nothing more.
I remember the Watergate break in during the Nixon years. The media was unrelenting, week after week for months, then years, new revelations ... another layer of the onion stripped away until they had there man. After Nixon resigned the media went into self congratulatory mode, even a movie about Woodward/Bernstein & the Washington Post. If I recall correctly WP editor Ben Bradlee played himself in the movie.

The one difference between the Post reporting of the Watergate crap was they had an inside source from the FBI feeding them details of the ongoing investigation. Other media built their stories around their info and made up stuff when they needed to do so. So far, no one has come out saying they were the one who forged the document or the selective service cards. Of course, there is no investigation either except for Sheriff Joe’s.

Give the media credit, they managed to turn a second rate burglary allegedly focused on obtaining details of a prostitution ring run out of the dem party HQ into a coup d’etat. With the turd’s BC, a second rate forgery is being ignored. One would think if it eventually does break, whomever signed onto quashing the news coverage or abetted the use of the forgery would go to prison but that is as likely now as me becoming pope.

Ben Bradley in the Watergate movie saga all the president’s men was played by Jason Robards.

Once he’s out of office - the competition for books, movies and confessions will begin.

I hope the American public will be appropriately outraged.

Actually the media was quiet about Nixon at first until it was clear he was covering up. His duplicity along with release of the Pentagon Papers and a panoply of other things gave the coverup story legs and then the media was relentless.

I am hoping that Sheriff Arpaio can influence a Grand Jury to convene and force Obama into court to defend himself against all the evidence. Then I think we see this story get legs and take off.

But I want to be there to see O’Reilly and a hundred other prominent media types and also elected official eat crow when the ‘Birthers’ are proven right.

“I did not have sex with that woman ... Ms. Lewinsky!”

Yeah, sure.
