What exactly is wrong with being a birther?
It’s simply a term for people who don’t believe Obama was born here.
He seems to have born in Kenya. Raised during his formative years in Indonesia, as a practicing Muslim. He’s got lawyers preventing his birth records from being seen, for both of those reasons.
What’s to be embarrassed about saying so.

Nothing, other than creating a false association with a fabricated environment of fringe, fear and extremism to shape public opinion, i.e. propaganda.
It’s simply primitive name calling:

Homophobe!
Xenophobe!
Nativist!
Right Wing Extremist!
