Do you remember when you sat on dad's shoulders on a warm July day and waved a little American flag while the old guys American Legion (sometimes half drunk) marched by with the colors and you saw more than a few people, young and old, put their hands over their heart?
And do you remember eating hot dogs later in the day and piling into the station wagon to go someplace and "OOO" and "AHHH" at the fireworks, and chasing little Janey around and maybe even getting a kiss?
