The best explanation for what you bring up is in the book “Bell Curve” by Herrnstein and Murray.
The race problem we face is huge, and it is made more intractable by the inability to talk about it in an honest way.
The authors had some suggestions on how to ameliorate the situation, but they were vilified, demonized and exiled from the human race for their trouble.
For those of you not familiar with the book, I highly recommend it. After you read it, the reality we’re living will suddenly make sense.
I do recall when the book came out.
Hernstein and Murray were both indeen vilified.
It was quite the firestorm.
Hernstein died soon after the book’s release IIRC.
