I read a bunch on the health care law.
Emergency rooms currently have a requirement to take care of everyone who shows up at their door.
Options are:
1 Federal repeal of that mandate.
2 Enslave healthcare workers by forcing them to work without pay.
3 Enslave people with insurance by jacking up their rates to pay for people without insurance.
4 Jack up tax rates to permit government to subsidize emergency rooms.
5 Have all emergency rooms go out of business.
6 Require insurance, or a penalty large enough to cover the cost of compensating for care for those without insurance.
Until 1 happens, 6 may be necessary to prevent 2, 3, 4, and 5.
No, you have it all wrong. Socialized health care is not the answer to anything. It won’t reduce costs and will give the government an excuse to regulate every part of our lives. Nothing will be off limits. On top of that, government run health care would provide the Democrats with a guaranteed voter base which would be unstoppable.
Teachers’ unions have been bad enough because they controlled the politicians, but SEIU members are controlled by the politicians.
Just say no to RomneyCare and ObamaCare, if you like your freedom, the constitution and the capitalist system.
