Skip to comments.Has Kagan or another liberal Justice leaked SCOTUS Friday Obamacare vote to Obama?

President Obama has taken a very risky course if the Supreme Court voted Friday to uphold Obamacare. If he believed that were true, he would likely have said he has confidence in the judgement of the Supreme Court Justices. If he were unsure, he would also tread lightly. Instead, he fired a verbal barrage at the Court.
US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the "unelected" Supreme Court not to take the "extraordinary" and "unprecedented" step of overturning his landmark health reform law.Justices rarely change their opinion after the initial vote, but it does happen. Justice Kennedy has been known to switch sides on major cases after the initial opinions are written. President Obama may be hoping to pressure him to do so again. If he doesn't, President Obama has laid the groundwork for using this to motivate his base this November. It looks like he has been tipped off and the news wasn't good for him. If Obama was tipped off, many would suspect Kagan who was Obama's Solicitor General and an Obamacare supporter before her SCOTUS appointment.
In a highly combative salvo on a case which could have a critical impact on his reelection chances, Obama warned that health care for millions of people was at stake, even as nine Supreme Court justices deliberate the arguments.
"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.
The US Supreme Court held compelling legal arguments on the health reform law, the centerpiece of Obama's political legacy, last week, amid a flurry of commentary predicting the law will ruled unconstitutional.
Obama noted that for years, conservatives had been arguing that the "unelected" Supreme Court should not adopt an activist approach by making rather than interpreting law, and held up the health legislation as an example. Read more here...
Not polar bears.
Polar bears shit where ever they choose.
Not in the woods, though. No woods around.
Just because there are no trees doesn’t mean we’re out of the woods yet...
I saw him say this on a clip on my local news The written quote here missed all his umms and pauses. It took him about 20 seconds to say that. He was off prompter, and was stuttering and stammering to beat the band.
That’s for sure.
If we are to believe the AGW idiots, who brag about how, in their infallible crystal ball, polar bears are going to need sun block, some time in the next 3 months...
Ask them if it's going to rain, tomorrow, though, and you are SOL. They don't have a problem with this.
PJ, it is news like this that makes me thank God every day that I am old, retired, and no longer have to live in the USSA.
When I see that filthy Communist Obama on TV, I have to hit the remote to cut him off.
God only knows who leaks what, when, and where.
Let us all pray that he gets his comeuppance.
But, you had to laugh when Obama fumbled his admonition and began to say “overturn”, but stopped at “over.....uh, uh, “.
This during his rose garden intrusion on the separation of powers.
I think it very likely that the cheerleader-stooge or the wise one did.
That would mean that if we struck down nothing in this legislation but the -- what you call the corn husker kickback, okay, we find that to violate the constitutional proscription of venality, okay?"
The only yhing that would surprise me about this bunch of criminals and their propganda arm, the media, is if they did something good and decent. they have demonestrated that there is no depth of depravity and degenercy they will not sink to.
Don’t forget STUPAK!
He also doesn’t mention how many of those democratically elected Representatives and Senators were kicked out by the voters for voting for that law. So many Congressmen lost their jobs that the House changed parties. I wouldn’t call that a “strong” majority!
I would say that one or all three of the witches did.
