President Obama has taken a very risky course if the Supreme Court voted Friday to uphold Obamacare. If he believed that were true, he would likely have said he has confidence in the judgement of the Supreme Court Justices. If he were unsure, he would also tread lightly. Instead, he fired a verbal barrage at the Court.
US President Barack Obama on Monday challenged the "unelected" Supreme Court not to take the "extraordinary" and "unprecedented" step of overturning his landmark health reform law.Justices rarely change their opinion after the initial vote, but it does happen. Justice Kennedy has been known to switch sides on major cases after the initial opinions are written. President Obama may be hoping to pressure him to do so again. If he doesn't, President Obama has laid the groundwork for using this to motivate his base this November. It looks like he has been tipped off and the news wasn't good for him. If Obama was tipped off, many would suspect Kagan who was Obama's Solicitor General and an Obamacare supporter before her SCOTUS appointment.
In a highly combative salvo on a case which could have a critical impact on his reelection chances, Obama warned that health care for millions of people was at stake, even as nine Supreme Court justices deliberate the arguments.
"Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress," Obama said.
The US Supreme Court held compelling legal arguments on the health reform law, the centerpiece of Obama's political legacy, last week, amid a flurry of commentary predicting the law will ruled unconstitutional.
Obama noted that for years, conservatives had been arguing that the "unelected" Supreme Court should not adopt an activist approach by making rather than interpreting law, and held up the health legislation as an example. Read more here...
One of the main and accepted theories of the Court is that it WILL NOT look at malfeasance or corruption or anything else in the legislature over whether a law is good or not.
I know, I know. It is outrageous and I was boiling mad when I read it, but that’s the way it is.

I may be dreaming, but I would not be surprised at all if this is close to unanimous. Possibly 7-2 against.
It also would not surprise me if we get a verdict way before June. The reason? The Supremes will say that they do not want it to be perceived as being political, so they want to release it as far ahead of the election as possible.
Don't underrate this Chicago political operative. He may be evil and a Marxist Muslim but he is far from stupid.

I have been praying for the continued safety and health of all the supreme court justices...including the liberal ones. We need them for comic relief sometimes.
It is absolutely unthinkable for me that the 4 Commies in the Court, would not have been in direct communication with the WH throughout the entire process.
Watch for stage 2: The demonstrations that are being organised by the WH, will move on to protesting the loss of all those free drugs in their future.
Of course, his Divine Holiness will be the only one that will be able to quell the violence. This of course, is on the condition that he is re-elected, and is able to ignore the ruling.
Dick Morris (dickmorris.com) is saying that if Obungacare goes down, Bork (Obunga) is cooked enough to stick a fork in and forget about, that would leave him with absolutely nothing resembling any sort of an accomplishment in three+ years and there’d be no way to spin that.

1) SCOTUS overturns parts of the Election reform Law. Obamugabe publicly insults that decision in his State-of-the-Union address.
2) SCOTUS rules in favor of the LCMS in hiring practices, citing the 1st Amendment and “right of free association”. Obamugabe dictates a health-care “punishment” reagrding contraception services to all religious bodies.
3) Obamugabe just “threatened” to ignore an adverse ruling regarding ObamaCare.
How do YOU think the vote went? I’m saying 6-3 that includes Kennedy and Breyer.

I have listened to Dictator Baby-Doc Barack’s statement yesterday when he is quoted as saying “ - - - “unelected” Supreme Court - - - “ , and it sounds to me to be the non-word “inelected.”
Did any of y’all hear the same thing?

Every time he is off the teleprompter , he sounds like an idiot and makes mistakes. He is a very good with a prepared , rehearsed speech. The only time he sounds like he knows what he is talking about is when he talks sports.
Do not mistake Obama for Clinton. Clinton is a smart SOB that came out of nowhere and made his own opportunities. Obama is the ultimate example of affirmative action. Has a SC decision ever been prematurely leaked? I’ve never heard of it. If Kagan did leak, she should be impeached. Frankly, it wouldn’t surprise me, but we’ll have a tough time proving it happened.
