How in the world could you come to that conclusion? Nothing about Meghan McCain (or her father, for that matter) is conservative - so your analogy is way off. Besides anything MSNBC does doesn't even register on the news meter - kind of like a lone ant at the picnic.
For Freepers or conservatives, MM is obviously a liberal. But, it’s more than enough for MSNBC to use her as a proof that they are ‘fair and balance’ since after all she’s a daughter of the most recent Republican candidate. I wonder if they (FoxNews) tried to hire Pelosi’s journalist daughter.
