Ill be voting for president, NOT my priest...I dont care what a mans religion is, just that hell be a good president.
Thomas Jefferson could be considered slightly heretical, yet Id love to vote for him for president.
Agreed, heck if George Carlin was still alive, I could vote for him even though he was an agnostic. Even so, he hit the nail on the head on so many things. I can live with Romney, at least he is not an America hater and no Mormon ever did anything bad to me. Most of them that I know of are very good people, the only Mormon rat I know of is Senator Harry Reid and it is his politics, not his religion, that make him a rat.
I'm into things like the paranormal, UFO's and "forbidden archeology Art Bell type of stuff" and there is scuttlebutt of a Christlike man over here at some point in history so who really knows? I'll stay Lutheran, as we all have our religions, what is my criteria is who will I feel better in getting that 3 AM phone call, Romney or Barry Soetoro. I'd take the former even though he is not my choice, at least I know there is competency there as well as he is not an America hater.
My only exception(s) on religion and politics is the Muslim faith, I cannot vote for a Moslem, it seems they are either of the radical type or tend to cave in to fear to the radicals and do their bidding that way. The other things is if the candidate is an extreme Satanist. Other than that, religion is not much of an issue to me.
