Considering we can't even nominate an actual conservative for the Republican nomination when we are supposedly having a conservative resurgence with the TEA party pretty much shows we are finished regardless of election outcomes at this point. Not only do we not nominate a Conservative, but we never gave significant lasting support to the most Conservative candidates on paper, and are going to nominate another guy like McCain which I didn't think we would this time around, and I was still pessimistic about our future. We have shown we cannot stop the liberal change that continues to grow in every American, and has so for years. We can't stop it so what chance do we have to reverse it? We choose between liberal Republicans and anti-American liberal democrats when it comes to Presidential elections these days.

I share your pessimism and do believe the ballot box has become a worthless lost cause. Having said that, I suspect some form of secession is our only hope at this point. How would we do it? Work at state level governments to get people thinking about it?
