This is Corey’s 15 minutes of fame, that she can turn into a boatload of money & fame. This is her Marcia Clark moment. Her OJ Trial. This is about her, not George Zimmerman. At this point, she is musing as to which actress plays her in the movie.
If she had seated a Grand Jury in this case, they might not have returned an indictment, & she would remain a nobody. By issuing the indictment herself, this case is her ticket to stardom.
Win or lose the trial, all of America will recognize Angela Corey. She is many things, but not a coward.
Just like Marcia Clark, she is a COWARD and a DISGUSTING AFFRONT TO PROFESSIONALISM to have held the pathetic news conference she just had. No excuses. Sorry.. Her compliments to Trayvon’s family while neglecting Zimmerman’s is uncalled for. Her intermittent smiles were totally inappropriate. If this is the best women can do, we’re screwed. Oh that’s right, we ARE screwed. This is just as serious a matter for Zimmerman as it is Trayvon’s family, not a frickin’ bridal shower announcement.
