Sigh. What a mess. Politics is so dirty. What is really funny are the so called “Santorum supporters” that are still running around here trashing Newt even though Rick isn’t in the race anymore. Strange you say? Not at all. Some people (onyx, true believer, vin, ritaOK, marguerite, Christie at the beach, PSYCHO FREEP, red steel, gogogodzilla) saw through them the whole time.

I hear you. It is what it is and it we saw the same thing in '08 with Huckabee. It all starts in purple caucus state, Iowa, but at least McCain was a moderate who had served in the military and was pro-life. Fred Thompson was knocked out by those pastors because he had a young second wife, and not enough fire in his belly for the campaign, but Newt sure has.
