***increased air pollution,****

Did this dum bass even live before 1970 when there was NOTHING to stop any pollution? I remember smoke stacks belching smoke, sulfur dioxide, raw sewage dumped in rivers, local city dumps constantly burning, smelly dead animal rendering plants, rivers coated with waste oil, one even caught on fire.

>HUD has spent the last 20 years seeding the suburbs with section 8 apartments[...]. What really puzzles me is that the HUD types only account for 15% of the population. Where the heck are they getting all these people from?

Isn’t it obvious? True housing-, and therefore environmental-, justice can only be achieved when the entirety* of the population is in section 8 housing.
Furthermore, the freeing up of the previously private property which WERE housing the general population is itself a sort of capital that can be developed or sold as our rulers see fit.

* Excluding, of course, our ruling class.

In the 1970s and 80s, Los Angeles decided to force integration by bussing our children into the violent black neighborhoods and bus their fatherless children into our neighborhoods.

The whites moved out of the city into safer neighborhoods leaving a void in Los Angeles. Places like Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and the Santa Clarita valley became bedroom communities where people lived but had to drive long distances to work.

Los Angeles filled the empty houses with Mexicans and South Americans, encouraged in large part by Cardinal Roger Mahoney who had learned his Sal Alinsky tactics from his good friend Ceasar Chevez. The citizens of California voted for Proposition 187 in 1994, a measure that would prohibit welfare to illegal aliens. One woman, a judge, Mariana Pfaelser overturned the new law.

July 8, 1990 http://articles.latimes.com/1990-07-08/local/me-105_1_los-angeles-business

More foreigners moved into Los Angeles. In 1994 Police Chief Daryl Gates enacted Special Order 40 prohibiting his officers from enforcing immigration policies.

The largely white population of Los Angeles didn’t want to live next door to third world people. A small town had to enact an ordinance to prohibit the slaughter of animals in their front yard. The white population moved further out into the desert, Lancaster. They were willing to drive for an hour and a half to and from work to not live next door to a Mexican. I’m not talking about Hispanics, I’m talking about people that grew up with dirt floors. Drive-by shootings became commonplace in Los Angeles.

The blacks and the Mexican gangs fought each other. Where the blacks, the Crips and the Bloods were hot-headed, the Mexicans were calculating and planned their attacks.

In 1989 when property values plumeted, there were many forclosures in the outlining areas such as Lancaster. New empty houses were deemed Section 8 housing and the inner-city blacks moved out of downtown Los Angeles. These violent youths further brought the property values down in areas like Lancaster.

In 2000, property values began to rise again, buoyed by no-doc loans. Illegal aliens had already displaced legal contractors that couldn’t compete. Now they were buying properties, remodeling them without city permits and flipping them. The illegals were totally intrenched in our city.

While restaraunts were graded by the Health Department, catering trucks parked in front of tax paying restaraunts, and because Mexicans mostly associate with Mexicans, the catering trucks thrived staying well into the night with neon signs and lines of patrons. Plywood carts parked in front of elementary schools selling corn smothered in butter and mayonaise, icies, coconuts and things I have no idea what they are.

There became no enforcement of licenses for General Contractors. No more health licensing of swimming pool cleaners. The gardeners no longer were graduate students of Horticulture. The green trucks of immigration disapeard from our freeways and mason yards. Yard sales sprang up all week long with new merchandice such as matresses and flat screen TVs. Child care facilities went up everywhere and the state paid these people to watch each others children.

Now the city of Los Angeles, when they plan a driving while intoxicated checkpoint, will publish the location in the local papers a few days beforehand.

Our cars are deemed inoperable by California’s strict smog regulations when the car is 10 years old and so are then sold to illegal aliens that use them as disposable cars when involved in accidents and they buy counterfeit licenses and registration stickers on the local corner.

Our local law enforcement has determined that impounding the cars of illegal aliens that can’t get a drivers license is a hardship and therefore they will no long do it.

California is the only state that will give welfare to the children of illegal aliens.

This created what was deemed urban sprawl. Enter Van Jones.

Van Jones, Obama’s Ex Green Czar:

”If we want to survive as a species, we will have to live in massive mega-cities. Living at one with nature is just crap idealism from the past, and the suburbs are nothing more than archaic residue of racist white flight patterns.”
Snip
”Sprawl is a response to racial fear and anxiety on the part of white elites. The ‘burbs were designed as a vehicle to get away from people of color, investing more in the white infrastructure as they moved away from the city, and the neighborhoods where people of color live. Does that mean the only environmentally-sound, antiracist thing for whites to do is move back to the inner cities. Yes, it does.”

Bump!

California is probably the most beautiful place in the world. I’ve been there many times and I love it. The folks are friendly for the most part, and the world’s best restaurants are in California. If I couldn’t live in my beloved Florida anymore, California would be my next choice.

The libs should be ashamed to what they’ve done that slice of Heaven.

True enough. I should have picked a better title. :)

Out of normal and healthy curiousity, why hasn’t anyone in the “press” found this and reported on it ? I thought it was an interesting tale, that’s for sure.

Don’t worry. It’s a rhetorical question. I know the answer. Sometimes it’s just hard to accept.

In my 38 years, I haven’t, either.

In a lot of ways, the lead scare was just as absurd as the DDT scare. Granted, the DDT scare cost millions in Africa their lives, but it’s similiar because it was fueled by the same kind of junk science.
