I think it is time to abolish the Dept. of Homeland Security (as well as the Departments of HUD, Education, Energy, and maybe others). There is nothing in its purpose that does not fall under the raison d’etre of the Dept of Defense.

On the other hand, the 20th Cent. shows us that a government intent on becoming a dictatorship does not need all these high=tech toys to stomp on human freedom.

When I read stuff like this, there are times I think getting hit by the USSR/Russia/Red China or even Iran in a nuclear war would be a good idea. At least it would take out most of the people proposing these ideas and the States would have more freedom, restoring the Constitution to the way it was meant to be prior to the Civil War. It's either that or maybe it is the time Jesus should return. I think "The Man" who wants to do all of this is getting too big for his breeches so to speak and needs to have the smackdown applied to knock him down a peg or three. Think of Emperor Nimrod and the Tower of Babel.

It's like my cousin said, "they want to 'ghetto us' dude."
