I think many of them come from these classes. But the classes themselves aren't the element.

On the contrary, many from the middle and upper class fight revolution.

Meanwhile, there are plenty from the proletariat who are revolutionary. Think Nation of Islam...Malcolm X for example who started off dirt poor.
