so many demand perfection and adherence to ‘their ideal’ so we end up not having good enough candidates (I can name dozens of instances).

And what is worse these folks then sit on their hands and stay home rather than working their butts off to be sure down ticket folks are elected. I hate it.

I don’t like the dims-— never have. But I admire them for being able to keep the end goal in mind.

We HAD an end goal. A government that fits into it Art 1 Sec 8 parameters. Freedom, real and untrammeled.

The thing is, no one really believes in it any more. Certainly not those in political power of any stripe whose only goal is the accumulation of more personal power.

There is a ton of wiggle room for ideological variance in the above. You just need to believe in the Original Intent.
