Come to think of it, no we haven’t. As a matter of fact, I don’t recall seeing a bank for sale in a store in a long time.

I suppose they don’t want kids to enter a culture of ‘saving’. That would bring about harm to the Wall St types who depend on folks to throw their money into the Ponzi, because the banks yield next to no return.

The masters of our new(failed) “service economy” probably hate the idea of people saving money too. People not dumping most all of their disposable income into their stores where they sell worthless crap obviously runs contrary to their business plan.....

I never had a piggy bank but I had a bank account when I was 8 but that was 67 years ago.

Before that i had a lock box since i was 5 to save my earnings.

With inflation a piggy bank is useless, try a safe!

There was an entire shelf of piggy banks at the dollar store just before Easter.
