They need to cut Barry some slack. It’s tough trying to raise a billion dollars in only 4 years to get reelected. Fundraisers can take up a lot of a person’s time. I mean, there’s also all those golf trips and vacations and late night TV shows... How can anyone expect him to find time to worry about the economy and jobs?
Actually, that change happened in January, 2007. Back when unemployment was 4.4%.
The Tea Party shares the same sentiments regarding the GOP establishment.

Because the one thing I NEVER hear mentioned in all these ‘austerity plans’ is actually cutting off those who had no reason to expect a retirement or benefits plan. Let's start with elected politicians. Tomorrow, axe every inch of their benefits and retirement plans. If they paid any money into these plans, a cash disbursement for the sum total they contributed.
The next day, ax every inch of benefits and retirements for appointed officials. Ax benefits the day after for semi-appointed officials - water boards, committee members, etc.
Sure, these are pennies in the overall scheme of things - well, hundredths of pennies. But you'd be hard pressed to find a politician who will say that he sought the job as mayor or councilman or state senator for the retirement benefits.
Then go after reigning back the benefits for public employees, and THEN talk about cutting back social security and other forms of welfare.
Amazingly easy for these drones who are embezzling the public dollar to write laws to hurt others, wonder how much they'll like writing the laws to get their own hand out of the cookie jar.
I have had a discussion about that issue with some “liberals.” They do not care that all the consicated wealth would’t last so much as half a decade; all they care about is “sticking it to the rich.” Envy is just a tweak away from hate.
Do not despair, my little DUmmie! Help is on the way! In fact, it will be here this Tuesday, May 1! MAY DAY! MAY DAY! GENERAL STRIKE! THE DAY WHEN EVERYTHING FINALLY CHANGED!

Apparently their envy is blinding them. Do they really think that there would be no rich people? Do they think there are no oligarchs in Cuba and other countries? Do they know that Kim3 might be the only fat man in North Korea?
They can go and live as dirt poor paupers in one of those countries.

Having had face-to-face conversations with folks like this, I can honestly say that all that motivates thim is “sticking it to the rich bastards.” That is it. They do not care that they may continue to be poor so long as the “evil rich” are dragged down into the gutter.
DUmmies are now listening to Rush...and learning.
Michael Moore was in Madison, Wisconsin agitating for a wealth tax recently. I get the feeling this is starting to be a fairly common idea on the left.
