we will be in this mode for many many years. Japan has been here for 20+ and nothing has really improved for them.Well I wouldn't go that far. Japan still makes excellent cameras like Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc and led the world in and to Digital Photography. And Japan makes top notch Guitars, which they have since the 1980's -- one Major Brand and model in particular is better and more sought after the American made model of the 80's. (I have the MIJ one so I know.)
At the same time Kodak went bust -- thanks to unions -- and Barry has a vendetta against Gibson Guitar Co because the owner donates to republicans. And other US Guitar Companies had to open shops in Mexico, China and Indonesia -- again due to Unions. And those 'foreign ones' ain't exactly shabby, I know that too. I just bought a certain Made In China Axe that is at least as good as the American made one, maybe better, and at 20% of the cost of an equal USA model. And 50% of cost of the generic USA model.
So buck up DUmmie and don't forget to get your Food Stamps and Welfare Check. That's your hero's idea of a 'recovery' and a booming economy. Oh. And don't forget to pay your union dues if you do have a stinking $12.00 an hour SEIU covered job.

there needs to be a confiscatory tax on WEALTH in this country, not just income. It never has been a matter of the amount of wealth in the USA. It's ALWAYS been about the distribution of that wealth.I have 'A Wealth' of ammunition. PLEASE come and try to confiscate it.
