If I like it, I'll read Mantel's "Wolf Hall" (written from Wolsey's point of view I think) also.
I know that Cromwell is the ‘hero’ of Wolf Hall, that’s the one she won the prize for.

I’m oddly captivated by the French revolution, even though I’m not very knowledgeable about it. I did read “Citizens” by Schama a while ago, found out it was all far worse than I’d thought!
I’ve never been a big historical novel person, but I just need to read something that is not a murder mystery for a change.
