I’m sorry, my karma ran over your dogma.

Is the Karma that thing that Consumer Reports couldn’t even get to run for their tests?

Is the Karma made by that company algore got taxpayer money to build in Finland?

Yes and Yes.

Fisker said they were going to build an EV in the $50K range in the U.S. but that's been put on hold, probably because Fisker can't con enough money.

Bursting into flames can really hurt a car’s re-sale value.

I’ll bet the salesman didn’t spend much time on that possibility:
“I have to warn you, this car could explode, burn down your house and
kill you and your family—but it’s a bargain otherwise. Can I write it up?”

“Is it good for the environment?”

“Generally speaking? Probably, possibly. Maybe.”

“OK then, let’s go!”

But, to Toyota’s credit; they first exhausted every possible avenue of investigation before pointing to the morons. I mean, what idiot stacks multiple car mats on top of each other, and you can most certainly FEEL the pedal catching the car mat.

You can’t fix Stupid.
