I was embarrassed for Paul showing his petticoat on this one. It read like an adolescent reaching for an essay that was due to the teacher, but he just couldn’t come up with one so this was she got instead.

The other excuse would be that Begala is a liberal, and ALL liberal arguments are childish and churlish. Now, your deadline theory could well be correct of course, but liberals being childish to me is just liberals being liberal.
