Their only natural enemy is moisture (soaking overnight in soup or milk provides an almost edible meal). LOL. They aren't bad at all. Basically neutral. Peanut butter, cream cheese, butter or jelly. Tastes fine with all of those. I sure don't think you need to soak them in anything. They are like hard water crackers.
