I supported Newt in the primaries but will vote for Romney on the basis of anyone but Obama. Does that make me bear the blame now?
Samuel Adams stated ...."Let each citizen remember at the moment he is offering 'his vote' that he is executing one of the most 'solemn trusts' in human society for which he is 'accountable to God and his country'.
Anyone who votes for Romeny or Obama bears the 'blame' for who they are supporting.... Conservatives do attempt to dodge the issue by their Romney support, but a candidate whose own supporters have to start every sentence with,.. Yeah, I hate him too, but...... is doomed..... like it or not "now"....all doors lead to the basement of the same outhouse.
It is wise to consider when we vote for an individual to sit in the official seat as President, we are voting not just for a person, but for that persons platform and giving 'our consent' to his governance....Ballots Do Not contain room for voters to indicate why thy have chosen a particular candidate. ..it therefore will always be "for" the candidate and the platform which he stands for.
How you determine your vote is your determination alone and none other.....For muself as a Conservative ,I will not adhere my signature nor give my consent to Socialist/Marxist platforms... Romney and Obama will take us further down those tracks....I may unwillingly have to ride that cat but I sure don't have to sign up for it...and I won't.
But to answer your question... do you bear the blame for who you vote for? ....One would ask then what are you voting "for" and what does 'your vote' mean to you? might be a better question.
