I did read the article. I agree that it seems very likely Martin had tried the stuff before, and I agree it’s possible that it was a factor that night. Until definitive proof comes out that he was affected by past use or had it in his system that night, though, I think a little skepticism is healthy here.
As for the media portraying Martin as a babe in the woods, etc. I totally agree. The media was taking sides from second one when the story went nationwide.

I’ve been surprised, maybe shocked, at the depth of the chasm between the culture of the blacks and the culture of the whites. It’s probably the same for the hispanics too. The differences aren’t just attitudes, values and music. It’s two different worlds.
Where on earth do these kids get the money to support their lifestyle?
