The stuff is gross and I make a disgusted,repulsed face. I need to take a swig of water,soda or juice to get rid of the taste.

Sounds as if you forgot to mix yours with enough Jolly Ranchers or Skittles, first dissolved in Sprite or Arizona Watermelon Fruit Punch.
